What is atrophic vaginitis?
Atrophic vaginitis is a disorder that consists of a thinning of the walls of the vagina and a reduction in its lubrication. Which produces greater vaginal dryness and inflammation.
It is caused, fundamentally, by a decrease in estrogen, which is the main female sex hormone, being a very common problem in postmenopausal women (50% of women with menopause suffer from vaginal atrophy), influencing both their sexual functionality and their quality of life. The INTIMICHIC silicone dilator allows you to exercise and gradually dilate the vaginal canal. At the same time, it allows you to lose the fear of penetration through small daily exercises. How is INTIMICHIC DILATOR used?
It involves first applying a little water-based lubricant to the entrance to the vagina (about the volume of a chestnut) and massaging gently for 2 or 3 minutes.
Next, take the smaller INTIMICHIC DILATOR element. Also apply lubricant to the tip in the same proportions.
Then start pressing to introduce it into the vagina gently and gradually. If you notice dryness, add lubricant.
You can continue practicing for 10 to 15 minutes using small rocking movements. It is important to keep in mind that the contraction of the vaginal muscles is unfavorable, so if it occurs, the exercise should be interrupted.
